This was fantastic, love the colors and aesthetic. Really vibrant even for the darker parts. Animation and backgrounds look great. I thought the gag was pretty good too.

Nothing really stands out to me as bad, the only minor criticism I might make is that the horror movie music is a little overused, but at the same time it works fine here so it isn't really bothersome.

Great job man, can't wait to see your next thing.

Great stuff as always. I love the whole aesthetic, and it was awesome seeing something with such substantial length and plot from you. I thought the stock footage was a nice touch to the humor, likewise with the stock photo of Mr P Dawgy when he hits the button.

I don't have any big criticisms. The "flipping" of the characters as flat planes isn't to my tastes but it probably fits fine with the limited animation look you have. The lines on the hand when P Dawgy points with his thumb to the button seem a little less polished than the rest of the cartoon, likewise with the doors when Simon bursts into the room with the gun. The shot with the gun also seems like it might have benefited from a little more elaborate animation.

Fantastic overall though; backgrounds, characters, and voice acting are all really fun to see/hear. Looking forward to your next cartoon.

Thanks so much! I appreciate your feedback. This was an idea I had for awhile so its great to finally have it out there. I would love to have more longer and plot heavy cartoons in the future. time is always the issue but it pays off I think.

yes! all the stuff you pointed out it, I would like to say it was to pay tribute to the limitations the original Peabody & Sherman had but it was honestly just laziness and me just wanting to finish the project. ha! And speaking of being lazy I was originally going to animate Hitler as an adult but I was to lazy to draw another character so the stock footage was a last minute decision, which turned out to be better than I expected!

I rather enjoyed the line "the ass weasels are manageable with diet."

I'm not personally a huge fan of the aesthetic, particularly the boiling hold on the background lines, but I thought most of the character movements looked okay. Try using the motion graph in After Effects to ease the tweens/keys a little more. Also, I noticed the head squirrels were showing a bit under his head as they appeared, you could probably fix that with a mask.

Overall I like it, I'd just recommend a little more fine-tuning.

This is the firs time I tried the boiling aesthetic. I'm not sure if it's for me, but it added to the unease for things. I used a mask for the squirrels, but it didn't go down far enough. When I noticed it, it sort of added to the chaos, but I could see going in and tweaking. I used ease's on the keyframes, but I do need to get more handy with the graph. They changed it up and it makes a bit more sense. All things for future projects. Thanks for the feedback.

That was definitely interesting. While the humor isn't entirely my thing, it's admirable anytime I find a series that's run this long. The limited animation is understandable given the length, although some of the characters are still impressively detailed. I'm a little bit curious what framerate you're working at, since it seemed a touch choppy at times.

I can see from your other work that you've been cultivating this art style for a while now, so I won't go too in-depth on that. My only suggestion would be to perhaps spend a little more time on the backgrounds, just to break them up a little. They're pretty noticeably bare at times. A few extra cracks on the walls or other minor details to break them up would probably suffice.

Other than that my only significant complaint is the audio. It was difficult to understand a lot of the characters at different times. I'm unsure if the problem is in the settings in flash or how you're exporting or just the mic you used, but there seems to be a lot of distortion on nearly all of the voice-acting.

Thanks. It's 12 frames per second. This is the style I've settled into, being self-taught. I like to tell long stories, but I work alone, so I need to get them done in a reasonable amount of time. This one took over 9 months of animation.

I know it's difficult to understand some of the characters words, especially when they're screaming or doing weird voices. If you go to the YouTube or Vimeo versions, there's optional captions.
